Switch 2 the better edition of the upcoming hot games
Much to nobody’s surprise, Nintendo has revealed that Metroid Prime 4 Beyond and Pokemon Legends Z-A will officially arrive on the Switch 2. The news came during the big Switch 2 Direct today in which further details about both games were showcased.
With Metroid Prime 4, the Switch 2 version will include HDR video, alongside the selection of Performance (HD & 120fps) and in Quality (4K & 60fps) modes. A mouse will also be an option for use in the game, which puts it essentially on par with PC FPS games.

Oh, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. There’s somehow still no release date yet for the game, but it’s still 2025.
The notes:
- Support for mouse controls using Joy-Con™ 2 controllers
- Enhanced resolution, textures and load times
- Choose from two display modes:
- Quality Mode runs at 60 frames per second in 4K resolution in TV mode/1080p while in handheld mode.
- Performance Mode runs at 120 frames per second in 1080p resolution in TV mode/720p in handheld mode.
- Both display modes feature HDR support
With Pokemon Legends Z-A, the Switch 2 will offer up “enhanced resolution and frame rates.” It will definitely look better and smoother, in other words, and may not have the very bad framrate issues that previous Switch 1 Pokemon games have been privy to. The game will launch later this Fall for both consoles.
