Mouse-based basketball comes to the new console
Drag x Drive, pronounced “drag & drive”, is Nintendo’s new gimmick-based game coming to the Switch 2. Much like ARMS on the original Nintendo Switch, this new game looks to have players utilize the new controllers in a novel way for multiplayer gaming.
Using both Joy Con held in mouse mode, players will “drag” the controllers on a surface to move around, and flip one of the Joy Con to take a shot. It’s unclear if a non-dragging control mode will exist because I can see players potentially destroying the Joy Con and whatever table they’re on in the process of playing.
The game definitely has that Rocket League feel to it, and ARMS ended up being an extremely fun game as it was updated over the years.
