The F stands for Friendly in new Silent Hill f trailer

It most certainly DOESN’T stand for friendly

Konami today revealed the first trailer for Silent Hill f, its upcoming new game developed by NeoBards Entertainment and based on the hit horror franchise. In the game, teenager Shimizu Hinako must navigate her hometown of Ebisugaoka in 1960s Japan all while avoiding the strange fog that’s eclipsing it.

Spoooooky!

The game will feature puzzles and adventuring, and A LOT of scary things. In fact, the disclaimer sounds down right wholesome: “This game contains depictions of gender discrimination, child abuse, bullying, drug-induced hallucinations, torture, and graphic violence.”

Joy!

Anyhoo, it looks really good, and we’re definitely insterested, but we’re going to start a pool to figure out what the f stands for. Family? Fog? Fright? Fries? Frogs?

It’s frogs.

The game doesn’t have a release date yet, but it’s already up for pre-order on Xbox Series, PS5 and PC, so we reckon that you may want to leave the back half of this year open.

For frogs.
