A lot of sand is about to hit your PC, so get your fans ready
We’ve had our Muad’Dib blue eyes focused on Dune: Awakening since it was first anounced and our early preview, and now the MMO-ish game is finally launching soon. Funcom has revealed a May 20th, 2025 launch date for the game on Steam. It won’t be going into Early Access either — no, this is a full drop release. Boom! Sand worms!
The game puts survival and MMO tendencies together as players will live in an alternate reality version of Arrakis to make a name for themselves, align with factions, and survive a regular massive storm. Also: a hell of a lot of action.
And sand worms.
