Battle Pokémon trainers on Switch and mobile
During today’s Pokémon Day Presents, The Pokémon Company revealed a new upcoming game, Pokémon Champions. Whew, I wrote “pokemon” about a hundred times there, but that’s probably because this game is all about those little monsters and not much else.
Game Freak and The Pokemon Works are developing this new cross platform games, which will appear on both mobile and on Nintendo Switch (and we’d have to imagine Switch 2), much like Unite currently is. The game will focus on the core battles of the series, pitting players against each other with their squad. Players will be able to bring their pokemon in from Pokemon Home and other Pokemon games to engage in these battles.
Not much else is known about it other than the game is currently in development and has no release date.
