People are really nice… at driving a giraffe crazy
I may be Mr. Social here at SideQuesting, as a podcast host and a panelist and a wedding DJ, but that doesn’t mean that I love talking to people all the time. In fact, sometimes I find myself stuck in an endless conversation as I’m trying to get something done. It sucks! It happens to all of us!
But it might be even more horrible for one poor asocial giraffe. A Week in the Life of Asocial Giraffe, the upcoming game from Quail Button, is a “point and click stealth” adventure game in which a giraffe must make their way through situations in Friendly City as they try to take care of mundane daily tasks. Grabbing food might be easy, but not when your anxiety levels peak any time someone wants to talk to you. This poor giraffe’s head will literally explode if they start talking to someone.
What a glorious idea.
The trailer features wonderful hand-drawn art that echoes modern webcomics, and hides the subtle themes of self-care and social awkwardness behind a cute look and premise.
It’s a fun idea, and one that most definitely has us interested.
A Week in the Life of Asocial Giraffe arrives on Steam in 2025.
