Getting ready to tell us a story soon
All Possible Futures & Devolver Digital’s upcoming INCREDIBLY COOL LOOKING GAME The Plucky Squire has a release date, and it’s just a couple of weeks away. The dev & publisher have revealed that the game will launch on September 17th across all platforms (PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox Series & PC), bringing its charming style to the masses that day.
The trailer above tells us everything we need to know, but we’ll give you a quick refresher: The Plucky Squire is set in an almost Zelda-like adventure with a visual design that hops into and out of a storybook, featuring great puzzles (themed on the whole book-to-real life premise!), a cute cast of characters and enemies, and what looks like a fun plot.
We’ve been ogling it for a couple of years now, and everything we’ve seen and experienced has been, well, just lovely. We’ll be clearing out the bookshelf in anticipation later this month!
