An update is on the way for the demo for the upcoming RPG
Our team at SideQuesting is going gaga for Metaphor: ReFantazio, the upcoming SEGA/Atlus RPG from the Persona studio. Just watch the video below from our latest episode of The SideQuest to hear their thoughts, and you’ll know why the final game looks JUICY.
But, as we can attest, the demo (essentially the game’s prologue) has a few bugs in it. Framerate issues, stuttering, drops, and more are plaguing some players, depending on their settings. This seems to be mainly affecting PC players (hi Taylor), but Atlus isn’t waiting until the full game’s release. Insteads, they’re going to address the demo’s issues with an update to come soon.
Hopefully the dev team can get the issues resolved, as the demo covers a HUGE part of the game (which will already run over 100 hours) including several dungeons and classes, with progress carrying over into the final version. The finished game arrives October 11th for PC, Xbox and PlayStation.
