Bethesda’s next big game whips onto Xbox this year and PS5 next
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming to PlayStation 5 in Spring 2025, it’s been revealed. That news came during gamescom’s Opening Night Live, in which a new trailer for the game revealed a December 9 release date for Xbox & Gamepass, and the announcement of the game coming to PlayStation.
The new video shows Troy Baker performing motion capture on some pivotal scenes in the upcoming game, as well as Indy interacting with people in conversations with words… and with fists and whips and bullets.
Indy’s move to PlayStation isn’t a quick decision — games take a long time to develop, especially on the latest gen, so this has likely been in the works for a long while now if it’s launching in the Spring. It follows the “Xbox Four” that launched on Switch and PS5 earlier this year. The company is looking for more avenues to quickly make its gaming division valuable and consistent, and that could very well mean that more Xbox games could be headed to other platforms sooner rather than later.
