Maybe the cutest subscription box you can find
We don’t really review subscription boxes here at SideQuesting. It’s not that it’s a policy or anything, it’s just that we haven’t really sought out or been offered one. Well, recently we got contacted about a box and decided… sure! Let’s do it. Let’s look at KAWAII STUFF.
The YumeTwins box is a subscription based serving of cute — really cute — anime things. All of the items in the box we received were based on some pretty popular properties, like Demon Slayer or Sailor Moon, so fans who subscribe will undoubtedly get something that they know about already. I may be a dude in my 40s now, but my daughter is fully into anime (and if you watch the video you can see that Team SideQuesting also has some fanatics on board) so once I went through the unboxing I gave the stuff to here, and she looooved it all.
This box includes a bow, stickers and key chain, but the other two items are the ones she really gravitated towards.
She loves stuffed animals, so the Hello Kitty X Sailor Moon mini plush was right in her alley.
If you watch the video, you’ll see that there’s a Demon Slayer outfit that we had some trouble figuring out its purpose. Had we looked at the accompanying catalog we would have seen that it was actually a hand towel, complete with a little wooden hanger. She knew what it was without even needing to look at the paper, and hung it up for use almost immediately.
Anyhoo, this is a nice box of cute, kawaii-based things from properties that we all likely know. It’s neat for collectors, or just those who want a little smile on their faces for a little bit.
