CRANK IT UP TO ELEVEN with Mario and Yoshi
My goodness, they can’t keep doing this! Nintendo and LEGO are at it again, making saving for my daughter’s college a near impossible task. This time they’ve revealed a brand new Super Mario World set is on the way, onsite at SDCC.
The set is a 2D standee that uses the game’s 16-bit style to feature Mario riding Yoshi. But there’s always magic with a LEGO set, and this one has built-in animations that take place when owners turn a crank on the side, causing Yoshi to walk and stick out his tongue. And we can even add a Mario, Luigi, or Peach figure from their mainline Super Mario sets! COOL.
IT’S ANOTHER FREAKING COOL SET. AGAIN.
Nintendo and LEGO continue to have fun with this partnership, and I will continue to buy these sets.
