Summer Game Fest will return in 2025

Back in Los Angeles for another year of gaming reveals

For all intents and purposes, Summer Game Fest was a resounding success this year. It showcased games that were small, games that were big, and games in-between. The showcase itself was 2 hours of good content, and we were fortunate enough to attend the Play Days event and have our hands on many cool projects that are arriving this and next year.

So it should be no surprise that the event will be back for 2025. Geoff Keighley announced the news on social media, noting that it will return with both a stage show and the in-person media and industry Play Days.

With so much happening in the games industry right now, and 2025 looking to be a major year for new hardware, SGF and other shows may become even more important to the continued success of the industry.
