Rainbow Cotton review

Rainbow Cotton review

A remake of a Dreamcast game… in THIS economy??

Sam explains why this game takes a lot of influence from its arcade history, but almost so much that it feels like it’s a little left behind. It’s fine — it’s of its time as an on-rails shooter, and has a few quality of life improvements — but it feels extremely lite.

A game built almost exclusively for fans, if the name “Cotton” doesn’t bring back memories then you may not find much of a connection to this game beyond a quick, arcade-based Cute ‘Em Up experience.
