The fan expo was a success this June
Walking into IGN Live last week, one would think that it had been a long-running event. It was well organized, had plenty of new and upcoming games, and fan attendance was good. But it was only the first show, and it was fairly quickly put together within only a couple of months. It was a mini-PAX and it was surprisingly fun.
The success has driven IGN to already inform fans and partners that the event will be coming back. By announcing this early, the extra time should give the media conglomerate more time (and hopefully space) to plan out the fan-centric event.
In a note posted to their website, the company stated:
“IGN Live will return. Thanks to the thousands of fans who joined us in LA, millions of viewers around the world, and countless incredible partners for making IGN Live 2024 such a success. Email live@ign.com to discuss 2025 with us.”
The news comes as Summer Game Fest has been confirmed to return in 2025, and the ghost of E3 disappears as events are finally starting to take its place with better organization — let’s just hope they coordinate.
