The new Fable’s release date has been revealed… ish
It’s been a reboot-heavy push for Microsoft’s Xbox platform, and the latest Xbox Showcase revealed more information on their big RPG reboot: Playground’s Fable.
Fable asks the question “what does it take to be a hero” and the latest trailer answers with “coming out of retirement.” At least, that’s the whole vibe of it. The video follows Humphry, one of the bravest heroes in the land, as he recounts tales of his valor. Then, suddenly, his past comes roaring back when an old foe returns to bring danger to Albion.
Playground Games is working alongside Eidos Montreal on development of Fable, so it’s a big group effort.
The platform holder announced that Fable will finally launch on Xbox Series X/S, Game Pass and PC in 2025. Maybe!
