Get ready for 5v5 multiplayer hero-based action!
During today’s State of Play, Sony and Firewalk Studios revealed more details about their upcoming Concord game. The project is a 5v5 team-based multiplayer shooter in which players will select their space crew-based team and battle it out against others for glory.
The developers are thinking about it as a social FPS experience, in which players are encouraged to get together with the same crew and finish a sort of plot-based set of missions. CG clips will kick off certain play sessions, and weekly cinematic vignettes will debut each week to show the characters off the job. It’s a real Guardians of the Galaxy meets Suicide Squad vibe.
Anyhoo, Concord will hit Beta on PS5 in July will full launch on August 23, 2024.
