This is already the SIXTH Black Ops game??? How old am I???
Another year, another Call of Duty. This time it’s Black Ops’ turn, and the 6th game in the subseries is set to make its full reveal in June at Xbox’s showcase.
MicrosoftVision-Blizzard-King-Thesda announced the game with a timely “The Truth Lies” flame-stoking tag line, because of course conspiracy theory is still all the rage and appealing to that sensibility is money in the bank.
Set during the Gulf War era, the live action trailer even features Bill Clinton and Saddam Hussein lookalikes.
Microsoft also revealed that the game will be dropping on Game Pass on release, meaning that those of us who paid our $16.99 better re-up before there’s a probably price hike to the service or else we’ll be stuck buying the game. Platforms haven’t been announced, but expect the usual suspects of PC, Xbox Series, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5.
