New trailer debuts for Kojima’s super sequel
Sony’s new year edition of their State of Play dropped some bangers, the biggest of which was arguably the newest trailer for Death Stranding 2. Kojima Productions’ newest upcoming game dropped a mammoth 10-minute clip, showing off the latest visual fidelity and story beats, as well as returning characters, puppets and oily cats.

The game takes place some time after the events of the original game, with Sam setting out beyond the confines of the UCA. It’s a more introspective game, too, as the concept will challenge the ramifications of the decisions that shaped the game’s world up until now.
The game has an official full title now, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, and is aiming for an exclusive launch on PlayStation 5 sometime in 2025.
