Cinematic masterpiece Death Stranding is being turned into an actual cinematic masterpiece

A24 signs with Kojima Productions to create the film

Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding won Game of the Year nods when it first released, and has been hailed as an extensive, full-featured gaming experience that mixes action with cinematic story development.

It’s good! Real good!

And now it’s being made into a movie.

Film studio A24 and Kojima Productions have revealed the news that a movie based on the game is now in development, and will be produced by A24 with Kojima being intensely involved. While no other information was revealed, we can expect the film to arrive sometime into the far future, perhaps when Death Stranding actually takes place, because that’s how long it’ll take to make it. Probably.
