Trailer Saturday: Godzilla, Echo, Planet of the Apes and more

Tons of sci-fi and cool shows on the way

It’s Godzilla season, and what a better way to celebrate than to showcase TWO trailers for upcoming Zilla-related things! Obviously the big news is that Godzilla: Minus One is hitting theaters on December 1st, so Toho has dropped a massive new trailer showcasing the big guy absolutely wrecking post-war Japan. He’s looking more terrifying than ever, and gives us some of the same feeling of that original Godzilla film.

America’s Godzilla stuff is also getting another bump, as the Monarch TV series has given us it’s first, real, official trailer. It follows a family that’s wrapped up in the monster hunt stuff around the world, and drops on Apple TV+ on November 17.

2024 is bringing a lot of gaming stuff to Netflix, like… Devil May Cry!

…and Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft!

And the Scott Pilgrim animated series, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, hits Netflix on November 17th. A snazzy trailer is up now, too!

In non-gaming news (buts still geek related, especially for us at SideQuesting) is that we’ve got the dates for the upcoming Doctor Who specials starring David Tennant and Catherine Tate! The 14th(?) Doc’s episodes hit on Saturday November 25th, Saturday December 2nd, and Saturday December 9. Here’s the previous trailer to keep us all excited!

Marvel finally gave us the first trailer for its upcoming ECHO streaming series. All episodes land on Disney+ & Hulu on January 10th. Oh, and it’s TV-MA rated, because of BLOOOOOD.

Finally, the Planet of the Apes series is back, with the first moody teaser trailer for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, landing in theaters on Memorial Day weekend.
