Rebirth changes everything we know about Final Fantasy VII
Square Enix is reminding us that 2024 is leap year by showcase a lot of leaping. Well, okay, one pretty big leap, at least. During today’s PlayStation State of Play, the company dropped a story/release date trailer for its upcoming Final Fantasy VII Rebirth game that leaves our heads spinning.
Before you watch it, just know that it spoils some of the big events of Final Fantasy VII Remake.
Anyhoo, we’re treated to a lot of the beats of the original Final Fantasy VII game, with the return of several fan-favorite characters and enemies. The new stuff looks great too: dance numbers, chocobos climbing up walls, and all them clones.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth lands exclusively on PS5 (at least until May 29) on February 29, 2024.
