The battle between Zelda, Baldur’s Gate and Starfield culminates at the Game Awards on December 7

The biggest awards show will crown their champions in a crowded year

The 10th Annual Game Awards will return on December 7, 2023. The news was announced during gamescom’s Opening Night Live event, confirming the return to that first week of the final month that we’ve pretty much assumed.

This year will be especially contested, due to the absolutely huge games that have released over the last 12 months. It’s August now, but people have already forgotten that Resident Evil 4 and Metroid prime HD launched this year. Yikes! Too many games, amiright?

Anyhoo, the Game Awards are always a fun time, even if there are stage crashers and announcements that don’t always beget the hype that the specific audience is feeding on.
