The RPG King returns this year
During today’s Nintendo Direct, Big N revealed that the big rumored Super NES remake on the way is Super Mario RPG. The much-desired classic game hasn’t landed on the Switch’s online service yet, so the announcement of a full remake is a surprise.
The game is being developed in 3D now, as opposed to the pre-rendered 3D on the Super NES version. It’s unknown if Square Enix is involved with the remake, as they developed the original. The game will launch on November 17, 2023.
