Remake and reload and remember
Atlus has officially announced the leaked P3 remake, Persona 3 Reload. The project will fully remake the original Persona 3, albeit this time in Unreal Engine. The classic PS2 rpg has seen a few versions in the past, with iterations across different platforms (and even a port earlier this year for moser consoles). However, this remake will strictly stay with that original. Don’t expect any new content or additional protagonists from those games, in case you were wondering.
Right now the game has only been revealed for Xbox platforms and PC, but that may be due to a timed embargo for later this week — the box art of the game for PlayStation and Switch has already appeared online prior to this news. Persona 3 Reload is due in early 2024.
Atlus also revealed a chibi inspired tactical take on Persona, with Persona 5 Tactica on the way. The game will be drop the Phantom Thieves into an alternate realm dominated by a group known as the Legionnaires. It’ll be up to them and their new companion Erina to end the tyrannical oppression of the group. The game is launching on Xbox platforms and PC on November 17, 2023 — and probably other platforms, if you want to come back in 2 days.
