We already knew that, but now we DEFINITELY know that
In a statement to IGN, Microsoft has confirmed that they won’t be hosting a space on the E3 show floor. This shouldn’t come as a shock, as the platform holder hasn’t had a space inside the LACC since 2017. In fact, at the last two physical E3s (2018 & 2019) the company held their events off-site. Sony, of all people, actually had a booth later in the E3 era than Xbox did. So, the company not returning to the floor space isn’t uncommon.
The company will, however, be a part of the “digital presentation” E3 schedule, likely including their June 11th Xbox Showcase & Starfield Direct as a part of E3.
While this may seem like a big blow for E3, this is somewhat in line with what Xbox has done at the expo over the last several years.
