More than one block needed to rule them all
LEGO has officially revealed a truly massive Lord of the Rings set that encompasses over 6000 pieces. The Rivendell set is one of the biggest in the LOTR series, with 6167 pieces and parts in the box. It features a slew of areas found in the movies, such as Frodo’s bedroom and Elrond’s study, the Council, and the moment the Fellowship crosses the bridge. Different parts of the set can be moves around, with three distinct sections.
At 30 inches long and 20 inches wide, you’d be hard pressed to find a spot in your home that can fit it — but we’re fairly certain that fans of the series can and will.
Fans. yeah. And collectors, who will likely leave it in the box for eternity until a new Ring is forged.
Anyhoo, if you have $499, this awesome set can be yours starting March 8th.
