The company plans to drop a ton of news for 2023
As was foretold, predicted, EXCEEDINGLY LIKELY DUE TO HISTORY, Nintendo has announced its annual February Nintendo Direct. The Direct will take place tomorrow, February 8, 2023 and feature “40 minutes” of games launching in 2023.
Nintendo has a big first half planned, with the recent release of Fire Emblem Engage and the impending nuke that is The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom dropping in May. Plus there’s that movie coming up. The show will kick off at 2PM PT/5PM ET at Nintendo’s home page (and on Youtube and Twitch).
Likely to be showcased include:
- Octopath Traveler 2, (with a demo probably dropping that same day)
- Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe
- Bayonetta Origins
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
- Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC
- Mario Kart DLC Wave 4
- Fire Emblem Engage DLC
- A new Super Mario Movie trailer
- Splatoon 3 DLC
- Rumors of an Advance Wars 1+2 ReBoot Camp shadow drop
Other rumors over the last year include games and projects that we would love to see but haven’t heard anything about from the big publishers. These include:
