The Guardians face off against their biggest challenge
The Guardians’ story is winding down. After Endgame, there was one last thing they wanted to do: find Gamora. Unfortunately, that now means that they have to run up against some new foes along the way, and they ain’t playin’.
The Big Bads in this film are the High Evolutionary (who’s trying to make the perfect society) and Adam Warlock, one of the most powerful figures in Marvel lore. And the Guardians are in the way of that goal. This is the last Marvel film directed by James Gunn before he fully becomes a part of the DCU.
