The next Legend of Zelda game has a name! Formerly known as The Sequel to Breath of the Wild, the new project is now titled Tears of the Kingdom. The news was revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct, capping the end of the presentation.

But we will shed no sad tears, just happy ones, as the company revealed an environment-setting trailer (see above!) and a release date. Circle May 12, 2023 for the launch of the HIGHLY anticipated game, exclusively coming to Nintendo Switch(es).
