The classic GBA games make their way to platforms next year
The once near-mythical Mega Man Battle Network games have been difficult to come by. The series lived on the GBA (and DS), and rarely saw the light of day outside of the early 2000s portable world.
But now they’re back! The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection has been announced at today’s Nintendo Partner Direct, bringing all 10 mainline games in the series to modern platforms next year. The games focus on Mega Man and LAN as they battle runaway computer viruses, featuring a mix of action and RPG gameplay. The 10 games in this package include the A/B versions of a few of them, optional filters for Hi-Rez visuals, and art gallery, and a music player. It’ll be sold as one physical package with all of the games, or as two separate collections digitally.
Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection arrives on Switch, PS4/5, and PC/Steam next year. No word on if the tie-in to Hideo Kojima’s Boktai games will be a part of this masterpiece.
