Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the second part of the remake trilogy

Pick up the pieces of the Midgar Experience

The second part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake series has been revealed: Rebirth. Announced during today’s Final Fantasy VII 25th Anniversary Celebration, the game picks up 5 years after the Remake.

Interestingly enough, the game will be a wholly contained story, so that new fans may not necessarily need to start with the Remake before jumping into Part II. Yes, it will loosely follow the main points of the original FFVII game after Midgar, but it will also bring the team towards a new adventure, and one that will ultimately end with some major reveals of its own.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the 2nd in a trilogy, it’s been confirmed, and is currently sent to launch next Winter 2023/2024 exclusively for PS5.
