The beartrepreneurship title arrives next month
The premise behind Armor Games Studio’s Bear & Breakfast seems pretty straightforward at first. A few animal friends come across an abandoned cabin in the woods — always a good and safe thing to do, of course — and decide to tidy it up and start a bed & breakfast for travelers. It seems like a perfectly fine thing to do in the middle of the woods!
But, uh, it’s an abandoned cabin in the middle of the woods, so OF COURSE things are not as they seem.
Players will have to balance a remodeling game with hotel management and a narrative that includes some dubious happenings around the cabin and its history, and all of that together sounds just so good, doesn’t it? It reminds us of the adolescent-based TV shows and cartoons that show the growing bonds between a cast of characters jammed together in a strange place.
Woods aren’t strange places, I guess, but they can certainly be dark and mysterious.
We’ll bring a flashlight and a hammer when Bear & Breakfast launches on July 28th for Switch and Steam.
