Holy crap, my childhood is back! Konami has revealed that a collection of the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games is on the way to gaming consoles. The Cowabunga Collection brings together 13 games across several generations of 80s & 90s platforms, from Arcade to console, and throws in a bunch of great additional content and updates.
The games included in the bundle are:
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Arcade)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time (Arcade)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game (NES)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project (NES)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (NES)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles In Time (SNES)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (SNES)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist (Sega Genesis)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Sega Genesis)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of The Foot Clan (Game Boy)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Back From The Sewers (Game Boy)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Radical Rescue (Game Boy)
Online multiplayer will be added to the 16-bit and arcade games, alongside digital guides for each of the 13 games. Artwork, concept art, music and more will be found in the game’s museum, and new modes include boss rush & challenge modes. The collection will also let players save and rewind, and remap buttons. Masters of game preservation Digital Eclipse are handling the collection, so you can expect it to be top notch.
