Nintendo delays Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp

Cites recent world events as cause of delay

While some of us were looking forward to Advance Wars coming back, maaaaaaybe it’s not the best time, what with what’s happening to our friends over in Ukraine right now. In light of that, Nintendo took the initiative to postpone release of the game, which was due to launch on April 8 (next month). It’s now listing the date as a general TBD/until further notice.

In light of recent world events, we have made the decision to delay Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, which was originally scheduled to release on Nintendo Switch on April 8th. Please stay tuned for updates on a new release date.

With people suffering because of the war, the postponement is a good idea, as the game focuses on a lot of tank & military-based combat. I’m sure fans will take the news we– oh, wait, it’s the Internet.

Before we have any thoughts of this game’s release date, let’s hope that the military invasion of Ukraine ends soon with minimal further casualties.
