A technical showcase for the latest Unreal Engine takes us deep into the Matrix
Do you want to feel like Neo? Do you want to get take the wrong colored pill? Well now you can, as The Matrix Awakens, a special Unreal Engine 5 showcase tech project, is now out on PlayStation 5v and Xbox Series X. The app/game/experience will put players into sequences that push the limits of visual design and realism, as the software engine, which is used extensively in games and films, will blend reality with whatever is not real. Computers? Graphics? I don’t know.
What I DO know is that the app is here, it’s free, and it’s a great warm up for the movie, which lands in theaters and HBO Max on December 22nd.
