The original Resident Evil game gets a movie reboot, mansion and all
It feels like there are a lot of Resident Evil project plates spinning at once, all of the time, so what’s another one? The reboot of the RE movie franchise gets its first big trailer, showing off iconic locations from the original game and featuring an all-new cast. Sorry, no Milla Jovovich this time.
The movie picks up with Umbrella Corporation having left Raccoon City and its horrific zombies unguarded, leading to the town’s decline and the eventual unleashing of the evil underneath. It stars Kaya Scodelario, Hannah John-Kamen, Robbie Amell, Tom Hopper, Avan Jogia, Donal Logue, and Neal McDonough.
Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City lands in theaters on November 24th, perfect to help your Thanksgiving dinner come right back up.
