Edutainment game arriving later this year
Nintendo has revealed the return of a popular franchise not seen in over a decade, and no we’re not talking about Punch-Out. Big Brain Academy, once one of the novel “memory wellness improvement” games on Nintendo’s platforms, is back in the new Brain vs. Brain sequel.
BvB will take the concept of brain puzzles and add in a slew of new features. The daily puzzles are back as the basis of the game, letting you complete daily memory missions to train that noggin, but the real oomph this time is the multiplayer aspect. Up to four people can hop into the memory-based mini games to take each other on, and two players can even utilize the touch screen for even more types of competition. And now, mathletes can hop online and take on the “ghosts” of other players in a sort of asymmetric play. Completing tasks and winning matches earns coins that can be used to customize your avatar.
Big Brain Academy: Brain vs Brain will launch on December 3rd for the Nintendo Switch for $29.99.
