Nintendo finally gives an update to the anticipated game
Bayonetta sports a killer new hairtsyle in the first official gameplay video of Bayonetta 3.
Nintendo finally gave an update on the game, which many fans have been losing their hair over in wait, during today’s big Nintendo Direct presentation. The game brings back the hero witch as she battles more demons, this time some serious kaiju-sized.
Though the familiar “Climax Action” of the series will return, there are plenty of new elements as well, including the “Demon Slave” capability which allows players to not just launch monsters in battle but now control them for prolonged times as well.
Executive Director Hideki Kamiya and Director Yusuke Miyata have noted that there are plenty of secrets in the game (and the trailer) that will be unveiled as they get closer to launch, but one may be right in the middle of it: Lappy the mascot Police Dog from PlatinumGames’ Astral Chain project, as well as maybe Devil May Cry’s Dante sneaking in there?
Bayonetta 3 is launching exclusively on Nintendo Switch in 2022.
