The tactical turn-based game goes to space
After a bit of an oopsie drop earlier, the Mario and Rabbids are officially back in a sequel. The game will team up the characters again, and this time send them to space. The characters must now travel around the galaxy to face off against Cursa, a new menace, across new environments and locales.
Because this is space, a brand new Rosalia Rabbid is joining the party, as well as another unnamed (but totally bad ass) Rabbid partner.
The story will center on Super Mario Galaxy’s Luma characters and how they’ve become the key to save the galaxy or destroy it.
The game will have more action and battle elements, the company announced, but will reveal those at a later time. Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope will arrive exclusively on Switch in 2022.
