Sequel to the turn-based hit making its way to Switch next year
Ahead of Ubisoft’s Forward event today, Nintendo has revealed Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope via a listing on the eShop. The game, which is a sequel to 2017’s excellent original, looks to bring back Mario, Luigi, Princes Peach, and their Rabbid friends as they hope to rescue the Sparks, which appear to be playable as well. New locations (beaches, pirate coves, etc) are on the way, too.
Not much else is known about the game, as the listing only reveals one more key item: a 2022 release date on Switch. We’ll likely find out more later today at Ubisoft’s Forward livestream.
