No Xbox owner left out of the next & current gen
On its Xbox Wire blog, Microsoft has confirmed that it will bring Xbox Series exclusive games to the Xbox One platforms via Cloud Streaming. The concept already exists on PCs, browsers, and mobile devices, and so Microsoft bringing it to its last gen platforms shouldn’t come as a huge surprise.
Games like Starfield and Redfall likely will now have even more homes to gather playtime. With Xbox Series platforms still difficult to find due to chip shortages and the pandemic, allowing last gen owners to have a taste of the games may tide them over long enough until the stock finally catches up to demand. Either way, the now 8-year old devices may have just had their life expectancy extended for a bit longer.
