Samurai sword noir
Devolver Digital and Flying Wild Hog have revealed Trek to Yomi, a new cinematic side scrolling sword fighting samurai noir game. The game will put players in the role of samurai Hiroki, who’s sworn to protect his home. As tragedy besets his village, he takes on the attacking forces, both human and supernatural.
The game is being billed as an action adventure with cinematic camera angles and classic samurai film feel. Using often one-on-one battles and blow-to-blow sword strikes, the fights will each feel like they have meaning.
Trek to Yomi is coming to Steam, PS5, and Xbox in 2022.
