Success of last year’s Crysis Remastered shows series is still profitable
Last year’s Crysis Remastered popped up on several platforms to praise. Apparently, it was monetarily successful as well, since Crytek is releasing its sequels as well. Crysis Remastered Trilogy will bring all three games to the modern era, across PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC (and PS5/XBox Series via backwards compatibility). The “remastered” part is the single player campaign portions of the games, which will also feature enhanced visuals and control tweaks (like gyro controls on the Switch version). The series spans North Korea, New York, and finally a “revenge” mission against C.E.L.L.
Saber Interactive is handling the port, so consider the effort in good hands.
The the games will be sold in a bundle, owners of last year’s remaster of the original can buy the games separately if they’d like. Crysis Remastered Trilogy launches this Fall.
