SGF Live to host game reveals and music

That’s the inside joke that’s been going around the games industry ClubHouse sessions lately, as we gear up for somewhat of a return to the big summer gaming that we loved from a few years back. This year, at least, companies are starting to actually coordinate on news.
Geoff Keighley’s (HI, GEOFF! BIG FAN HERE!) Summer Game Fest returns this year in a much focused form, angling towards June for the majority of its reveals — especially at its Kickoff event. Taking place on Thursday, June 10th — two days before E3 begins — the event will feature several reveals, news bites, specials guests, and even band Weezer performing a tune or two. It will feel like the Game Awards, but in Summer.
The event begins at 11AM PT/2PM ET/7PM BST at the SummerGameFest.com website, Twitch, YouTube, and everywhere else.
