One of the biggest original Dragon Quest games gets a new spin
Square Enix have announced that Dragon Quest III is making a return to consoles. The game will be a full remake in the HD-2D style that Square Enix has been utilizing for games like Octopath Traveler and Project Triangle Strategy. The game, originally on NES, was considered a masterpiece, one that introduced jobs and warriors-for-hire to the series. It served as the earliest in the original saga of the games, spawning even an anime in the process.
There’s no release date or any platforms announced for Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, but the game will be released worldwide.
