Twenty Bethesda games drop on Game Pass

Bethesda and Xbox come together to give you more games to play

Now that Bethesda is officially a part of Microsoft Game Studios, the first thing that the companies are doing to celebrate is to bring 20 of Maryland-based developer’s games to Xbox Game Pass. Bethesda, which is comprised of several studios, will bring series like Doom, Fallout, Elder Scrolls and more to the service, allowing giving players thousands of hours of RPGs and online games to explore.

The news was revealed during a special “Roundtable” event today in which staff from Xbox and Bethesda discussed the acquisition. Notably, exclusivity was brought up, with Phil Spencer stating that Bethesda games exclusive to Xbox will come to all platforms that Game Pass exists, painting a slightly more open direction for the future. Existing and future contracts & timed exclusives will still be honored, even on other platforms.
