The big one returns
It’s been almost a full year and a half since Nintendo hosted a full Direct presentation. We’ve had Indie Worlds, Partner Directs, and small events focused on single games — but that good feeling is finally back.
The company has announced a giant 50-minute Direct live stream taking place tomorrow, February 17th at 5PM ET/2PM PT.
As noted in the tweet above, the Direct will focus on already-released games like Super Smash Bros Ultimate (new fighter? new modes?) and upcoming games for the first half of 2021. There will likely be news on some of the games already announced — Bravely Default II, Monster Hunter Rise, and New Pokemon Snap — but the expectation is that there will be new game announcements for projects coming April, May, June and July.
Will we see Breath of the Wild 2? Metroid Prime Picross?
Watch the video (below, actually) on Wednesday, and join us on ClubHouse at lunch today for a special prediction session!
