I’m Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite collection
EA and BioWare have taken the full wraps off of the upcoming Mass Effect Legendary Edition, and it’s preeeeeetty awesome. The companies dropped a ton of details today, highlighted by the trailer above. The collection will bring together all three games in the original trilogy, as well as over 40 pieces of DLC. It also updates visuals dramatically (we hope you like lens flare!) and even tweaks the Mako controls and UI.
However, it will miss out on the multiplayer aspect of ME3, so there’s that.
The visual enhancements include lighting, shaders, resolution upgrades and 4K UHD with HDR for the newer consoles.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition arrives on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and PS5/Xbox Series via forwards compatibility on May 14, 2021.
