Titled cat game
With 2020 almost over, we’re all in with whatever 2021 will bring us. Thankfully, that might be cats. A lot of cats. Playfellow Studio has revealed that its upcoming game Fisti-Fluffs will land on Nintendo’s Switch, theoretically right-side up on all four feet.
The game features up to four players taking control of various cats, who have decided to battle it out while their owners are away. Focusing on physics-based battles, the cats can use objects in their environment to adorably beat each other up with. The cats are meant to move “smoothly” but the game seems to have just enough jank in it to make it seem endearing. Several modes provide alternative ways to play, instead of just fighting each other. For example, players can unite and take on waves of mice that are sneaking in to steal things. Cats can even be dressed up with outfits and hats, just like they love when we do it to them in real life.
It looks like it has that strange, somewhat realistic animal magic that games like Untitled Goose Game shine in.
Fist-Fluffs arrives on Switch and PC in 2021.
