Create your own tracks in the next Mario Kart
The next Mario Kart, Home Circuit, looks like it will give fans of the series the ability to create their own tracks as they see fit — should their living rooms be big enough.
In the trailer above, Nintendo explains how the upcoming RC car game will function. Firstly, players will design a course by placing the included gates around an area at least 10’x12′. After running through the course once, the game will automagically clean up the route and turn it into a themed course. Completing courses within cups will earn coins to unlock character and kart customizations, as well as course features. Sorry, no ramps.
The game can be played with up to 4 players, and each will need their own car, Switch and copy of the game. With the game selling for $100 per car, it could get pretty expensive. But, it could also be the next big creative outlet for Nintendo owners.
Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit launches October 16 exclusively on Switch.
